There’s 5 reasons why you’d use multiple firms on a search and they’re all bad:
1. You went back to a firm that can’t do this one.
No one bats 1.000. Maybe you used them for something else but they don’t specialize in this new area. Or maybe your contact left.
It happens.
2. You picked a firm that’s garbage.
First time out mistake. You went with a joker. Also happens.
3. You have ‘too many openings’ for one firm.
Plenty of good firms can handle high capacity. Creating dedicated solutions for fast growth is what Hirewell specializes in. We’re not the only ones. It’s a whole thing.
Side note: you sure you want to fill the full laundry list ASAP? Not being strategic about time frames and overloading your onboarding system is a whole other fiasco.
4. Your requirements aren’t realistic with the market.
An infinite number of recruiters won’t make a purple squirrel hunt successful.
5. A Hunger Games approach of firms fighting over the candidates pool seems reasonable.
