We’ve hired 27 recruiters this year. A more than 50% increase in our headcount.
And placed 5x that many at our clients. (Our HR recruiting practice recruits recruiters, in case you didn’t know.)
How? Good question. As Maggie Levenhagen and were discussing how we need to update our woefully out of date careers site (still in progress, it’ll get there…) We had a stroke of brilliance (sarcasm): why don’t we just ask our new hires why they joined?
So we did. Here’s what worked for us:
How they found us:
LinkedIn content - 42%
Referrals - 42%
Direct Outreach - 11%
Applied - 5%
What attracted them:
The people / the culture
Our creativity in business model and/or content
Tenure of the team & growth opportunity
Why they accepted:
Culture/Atmosphere/People
Remote Flex
Pay/Commission Structure
Comfortable with Matt Massucci and other leaders
Career Growth
Lack of Negatives
Takeway: Build a team of cool people. Let them grow. Talk about it.
Don’t over complicate it.
