My zoning out in the distance videos, explained
Really easy and really relevant content, feel free to steal it
I sometimes post videos of myself aimlessly talking into the distance. Sorta.
I’m actually having a conversation with a client and capturing just my side of it on another camera.
Why?
Because anytime a client, job seeker, employee, or teammates asks you something, it’s relevant. They want to know something. And someone out there will have the same question.
Your answer makes for valuable content.
I define ‘value’ in content as teaching someone something they didn't already know. (Feel free to make your own definition, I'm sticking with mine.) If one person didn’t know it, chances are a lot of the people don’t either.
Your content goal doesn’t matter. Employer brand, corporate brand, personal brand, whatever brand. Content creators face the same challenge: what are we supposed to talk about?
But it really is this simple. Answer real questions that real people actually ask you. If you try to think up everything on your own, you’ll end up with a lot of content no one cares about.
Have real conversations and you’ll never run out of topics.
