I typically don't venture out of my lane in this newsletter. But I spend so much damn time on that damn site my disappointment needs to be voiced.
Everything has a price. And I guess that includes free speech.
LinkedIn’s core business isn’t social media. It’s hosting the world's largest crowdsourced company directory. And China is pretty damn large.
So they had a choice: ban free speech or lose money. They chose the former.
