If you’ve been following along, you know I’m on the full remote bandwagon. (And that Hirewell is hiring experienced, US-based agency recruiters. All remote. Reply back if interested. Not-so-subtle plug…)
But some jobs have to be done in person. And not everyone likes working beside their Peloton (though I have no idea why.)
As office dorks**, we’re all in this together. It seemed like smooth sailing for things to get back to normal-ish until a few weeks ago.
Then Delta took hold in the US:
Twitter closed their New York and San Francisco offices and delayed other re-openings. Facebook is requiring vaccinations. Here.
Uber, Google, Apple and Netflix also delayed their in-person plans and/or required vaccination. Here.
Big tech always makes the headlines. I’m more curious about what everyone else is doing.
Is this a big policy-changer for most companies? Or a bit of a nothing burger?
