“Why aren’t job seekers applying on our web site?”
Or how to find out if your employer brand sucks
“Why aren’t job seekers applying on our web site?”
Because they’ve never heard of you.
I see two distinct camps when it comes to inbound interest from job seekers:
1. Companies who are absolutely flooded. The high flyers. Your Googles and Facebooks of the world. And local firms with a ton of street cred. They have the buzz.
2. Companies who get nothing. Unless they’re driving it through other job ads on other sites they’re paying for.
People don’t search for things they’ve never heard of. It doesn’t matter what it is. A cool brand. A trendy app.
Or a job.
The inbound traffic to your corporate career site is a direct measure of your employer brand.
