You probably guessed this is a list of things that crappy recruiters do. But you’re only half-right.
This is a list of crappy things recruiters do that were absolutely the norm a decade ago. (Maybe two decades? I lose track of time.)
Unlearning your personal bad habits is one thing. Unlearning “best practices” from the previous generation is something else.
But I look at it as an opportunity.
Right now, you’re probably doing something that’s completely idiotic. And you don’t even realize it because everyone else is doing it, too.
That’s the thing about innovation. It’s really damn hard to think of an original idea. It’s a lot easier to look at what you’re doing right now and identify something that’s totally f*cked.
